This combines the benefits of Pilates and Yoga and is designed to build strength, stamina and mobility. The exercise will be linked together in a flowing sequence, to find a harmonious transition from one movement to the next. This class is beneficial to those who are experiencing areas of stiffness in the body, as the dynamic nature of the movement will help release tension within the Fascia tissue of the body.
Level 1 – Mixed Ability and Complete Beginners
This class focuses on gentle mobility for the whole body, finding a Mindful connection through the breath. This class is aimed at those who have limited mobility and function, whether it is due to age, health conditions or a general lack of fitness. This class is about more than just building strength and function in the body. It is about building the confidence to start moving again,where movement has become limited because your body has changed. It is about finding that connection of body and mind and learning to appreciate what your body can do for you right now in life, rather than reflecting on what you used to be able to do. It is about learning to love and respect your body and realise how amazing it is right now in your life.
